Complete Birth Services

This is my primary package of services. I only take about 3 birth clients a month, so availability is limited. It includes:

• A free consultation, in person or virtual, to decide if we're a good fit for each other

• Access to my lending library of pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and newborn care books

• First prenatal meeting- in person or virtual, as early as mid second trimester. We'll design your birth plan, discuss labor preparation, and I'll share my favorite resources with you.

• Second prenatal meeting- in person, usually mid third trimester. We will practice comfort measures for labor, address any concerns that you might have, and aim to make your last weeks of pregnancy comfortable and worry-free.

• I will be on-call for you from two weeks before your due date until you go into labor.

• After labor begins, I'll meet you at your home or the hospital. I will stay by your side through birth and until you get settled. I will help you initiate breastfeeding. I will use your devices to take photos of key moments if I am able.

• One postpartum visit within one week after birth. We will reflect on your birth experience. I will answer questions about your healing, newborn care, and any breastfeeding obstacles you're facing.

Prenatal Services

This package is more affordable and less comprehensive, but can still set you on the right track for achieving your birth goals. It includes:

• A free consultation

• Access to my lending library of books and a list of free or low cost resources

• Two prenatal meetings, in person or virtual. We can customize these sessions to fit your individual needs. Topics covered can include birth plans, labor preparation, useful resources, comfort measures, and general question-and-answer to address any specific concerns.

While I would not be by your side through labor, birth, and postpartum, my goal would be to equip you and your partner to navigate birth on your own.

Postpartum Services

If you want extra support after the birth of your baby, we can arrange postpartum support visits at my hourly rate. I may also offer postpartum support as a stand-alone service on a case-by-case basis.

During a postpartum visit, I can tailor my service to your family's needs. Duties may include:

• Debriefing your birth

• Troubleshooting breastfeeding

• Newborn care advice

• Help with cooking or cleaning

• Caring for the baby while you rest

We will discuss your needs and estimate the length of visits while arranging these services.
